For a thrilling and terrifying Halloween experience, look no further than Universal Orlando Resort's Halloween Horror Nights. This separately ticketed event runs on select nights from August 30th to November 3rd. It features 10 uniquely themed haunted houses and five sinister scare zones. Event guests can also enjoy an outrageous lineup of live entertainment and have access to some of Universal Studios' most thrilling rides and attractions. Named the Best Halloween Event by Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards for 14 years, it's no wonder Halloween enthusiasts flock to Halloween Horror Nights every year!
The haunted houses at Halloween Horror Nights are inspired by the biggest names in horror and promise a frighteningly good time to all who dare to enter. This year, one of the most anticipated haunted houses is based on the popular horror media franchise "A Quiet Place." Fans of the films know that American Sign Language plays a critical role in the storyline. As a result, this will be the first year that Halloween Horror Nights incorporates the use of American Sign Language into one of its epic haunted houses. Guests visiting the "A Quiet Place" haunted house must remain completely quiet as they journey from the farmhouse to the woods and, finally, to the foundry. Any sound will attract monstrous creatures determined to hunt visitors down and silence them for good.
Other haunted houses will showcase frights from Ghostbusters, Insidious, and Universal Bloodlines. One of the attractions will feature an all-female haunted house called Eternal Bloodlines, where guests will be immersed in an epic battle between Saskia Van Helsing and the Bride of Frankenstein against Dracula's daughter and her monstrous followers. In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the team must save visitors and the world from a second Ice Age. In the Insidious attraction, visitors are warned not to get trapped in The Furter, where terrifying demons will try to ensnare them. Those daring enough to enter the Red-Faced Demon's lair behind The Red Door must avoid KeyFace as he tries to steal their spirits.
If muffling their screams, running away from spirits, and the daughter of Dracula is not enough to scare them, visitors are encouraged to walk through Halloween Horror Night's five sinister scare zones. These open areas feature terrifying street experiences with scare actors who lurk in the shadows and invade the personal space of anyone who walks by. Those looking to take a break can visit Universal Studios' amphitheater and experience an exhilarating show of pyrotechnics and aerialists performing to the beat of rock music during the Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus.
Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights will also showcase themed food and drinks. At select dining locations, guests can enjoy a variety of delicious bites and specialty drinks inspired by this year's haunted houses. For a truly immersive Halloween Horror Nights experience, guests are encouraged to stay at select Universal Orlando Resort hotels featuring themed lobby experiences and photo opportunities.
